Energy & Functional Drinks

The supplied document directly supports sports drinks and vitamin-fortified drinks containing functional ingredients such as taurine, vitamins, electrolytes and flavorings. For heat-resistant PET or glass bottles, it uses UHT short-time treatment followed by hot filling at 85–92°C, bottle inversion and gradual spray cooling.

Production Process of Hot-Fill Energy Drink Production Line

Engineered for Quality. Designed for Efficiency.

This process is applicable to noncarbonated energy drinks (sports drinks, vitamin-fortified drinks) packed in heat-resistant PET bottles and glass bottles. After blending, the beverage is subjected to UHT ultra-high-temperature short-time sterilization and kept at 85–92 °C for hot filling. After capping, bottles are inverted to sterilize the headspace by residual heat of product. Gradual spray cooling is applied to achieve commercial sterility for ambient-temperature shelf storage. The whole line is equipped with CIP Clean-in-Place system.

Build the Line Around Product Stability

Protect Functional Ingredients, Package Integrity & Shelf Stability

The line is built around product stability, process control and stable flow from preparation to packaging.

  • The supplied process controls blending temperature to reduce degradation.
  • Vacuum degassing reduces vitamin oxidation and foam.
  • Thermal treatment and filling are coordinated rather than treated as isolated machines.
  • Bottle inversion uses residual product heat after capping.
  • Multi-stage spray cooling reduces thermal shock.
  • The line states that the whole line is equipped with CIP Clean-in-Place.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A coordinated line for preparing, thermally treating, filling and packaging non-carbonated functional beverages. The line includes blending, homogenization, degassing, UHT, hot filling, inversion and gradual cooling.
The line specifies 85–92°C after UHT treatment. Final temperature must be validated for the formula and package.
To reduce dissolved oxygen, vitamin oxidation and foam during filling.
The line specifies 30–120 seconds so residual heat contacts the cap and bottle headspace.
The source uses hot → warm → cold water and warns against sudden cooling to reduce package deformation/cracking.
Not automatically. The source is specifically a non-carbonated energy-drink hot-fill process. Tea and especially milk require product-specific confirmation.
